Florida Gov. Rick Scott (R) negotiated a $3.1 billion Class III gaming compact with the Seminole Tribe but he didn't mention the deal in his State of the State on Tuesday.

The omission surprised Senate Majority Leader Bill Galvano (R), Florida Politics reported. He's already raised doubts about the compact's passage in the current legislative session.

"I think everybody involved in the process around that issue is skeptical we’ll be able to get it through," Galvano told Florida Politics.

The compact promises $3.1 billion to the state and the tribe is promising to create up 15,000 construction and permanent jobs by investing in its properties. The tribe has already shared $1 billion since 2010 under the prior version of the deal.
