Whitecap Dakota First Nation casino awards another $1M jackpot

The casino owned by the Whitecap Dakota First Nation in Saskatchewan awarded its second $1 million jackpot in less than a month.

Don Farber won $1,048,973 on a progressive slot machine at the Dakota Dunes Casino. He joins Ben Vuong, who won $1,166,462 -- also on progressive slots -- on December 30, 2015.

The Smoke Signals progressive slot machines are linked to all six First Nations casinos in Saskatchewan. The casinos are overseen by the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority.
