Authorities in New Mexico are still searching for a second suspect in connection with an officer-involved shooting at the flagship casino in Laguna Pueblo.

A tribal officer shot and killed Mario Sandoval, 19, at the Route 66 Casino Hotel early Thursday morning. A second person who fled the scene was captured on security footage but hasn't been located.

The FBI in Albuquerque is helping the tribe with the investigation. But they have not released much information about the incident itself.

The officer who was involved, Peter Tanzilli, suffered a non-threatening injury during the encounter in the casino parking lot.

The casino is about 20 miles west of downtown Albuquerque.
