The Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma is expanding its flagship casino.

The tribe will spend $34 million on a seven-story building to the Indigo Sky Casino, The Joplin Globe reported. The addition will bring another 125 hotel rooms to the facility as well as a ballroom, the paper said.

The expansion is expected to open sometime next year. That's also when the Cherokee Nation plans to open a $23 million casino in Grove, about 22 miles from Indigo Sky.
