Choctaw Nation police conduct investigation into death at casino

A man died at a casino owned by the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, The Fort Smith Times Record reports.

The man was in his 50s, the paper said. He died at the Choctaw Casino in Pocola.

"We conducted an investigation as part of our due diligence in case the medical examiner determines the death was from unnatural causes," John Hobbs, the executive director of the tribe's public safety department, told the paper.

The Pocola facility is located close to the border of Oklahoma and Arkansas.
