McCain says villages confirm global warming

Sen. John McCain (R-Alaska) said his visit to villages in the Arctic confirms that global warming is occurring and that humans are partly responsible.
McCain and Sens. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-New York), Susan Collins (R-Maine) and Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) visited the Inupiat Eskimo village of Barrow, Alaska, and other Natives in Canada.
They said Native people confirm that the climate is changing.
"If you can go to the Native people and listen to their stories and walk away with any doubt that something's going on, I just think you're not listening," Graham said, according to Reuters.
Alaska Natives say they have noticed gradual changes in temperatures and the environment. They say it has affected their subsistence lifestyle. Some Native villages are also in grave danger of falling into the ocean due to rising sea levels attributed to global warming.
