Wyoming governor appoints one tribal liaison

Wyoming Gov. Dave Freudenthal (D) has appointed a member of the Northern Arapaho Tribe to serve as the state's liaison to the tribe

Allison Sage, 48, said he hoped to improve relations between the state and the tribe. He is a former tribal council member who has worked in child welfare and social service posts for the tribe.

Freudenthal has not yet appointed a liaison for the Eastern Shoshone Tribe.
