NCAI Embassy gets $50K boost from Famous Dave
Monday, January 9, 2006

Dave Anderson, the founder of the "Famous Dave's" barbecue restaurant chain and the former head of the Bureau of Indian Affairs, donated $50,000 in stock to the Embassy of Tribal Nations.

Anderson said he was happy to support the National Congress of American Indians as it seeks to create a home in Washington, D.C. "This generous contribution puts us another step closer in realizing our initial goal of $2 million to purchase a building in Washington that will house the embassy," NCAI President Joe Garcia said in a statement.

The embassy will house offices for NCAI and other Indian organizations.
