Two Cheyenne-Arapaho council members ousted

Two council members for the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes of Oklahoma were removed from office this week but an appeal is pending.
The business committee voted 5-0 to remove Vinita Sankey and Roy Dean Bullcoming.
Sankey was accused of failing to file financial reports. Bullcoming was convicted in tribal court of embezzling from the tribe.
Sankey and Bullcoming have filed appeals with the tribal court.
