Senate Indian Affairs Committee schedule

The Senate Indian Affairs Committee is holding a hearing and business meeting this week.
On Tuesday, March 28, the committee will take testimony on
S.1439, the Indian Trust Reform Act The hearing will focus on Titles II-IV of the legislation, sections that deal with changes at the Interior Department, including the elimination of the Office of Special Trustee.
On Wednesday, March 29, the committee will hold a business meeting. Three bills are on the agenda:
S 2078, the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act Amendments
S.1899, Reauthorization of the Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act
S.2245, Indian Youth Tele-Mental Health Demonstration Project Act
