Man sentenced for dealing drugs on reservation

A 23-year-old gang associate was sentenced to 30 years in federal prison for drug trafficking on the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation in Wisconsin.

Pedro Zamora was sentenced without the possibility of parole. He was found guilty of helping the Latin King Nation distribute crack cocaine on the reservation.

The Latin Kings gang invaded the reservation in the 1990s and started a local group called the Lion Tribe Set. A total of 41 people have been sentenced in connection with the reservation drug ring.
