House Resources Committee markup session

The House Resources Committee is meeting today to mark up more than two dozen bills, including the Indian Health Care Improvement Act and two other Indian bills.

The agenda includes:

H.R.512, To require the prompt review by the Secretary of the Interior of the longstanding petitions for Federal recognition of certain Indian tribes, and for other purposes.
H.R.854, To provide for certain lands to be held in trust for the Utu Utu Gwaitu Paiute Tribe.
H.R.5312, To amend the Indian Health Care Improvement Act to revise and extend that Act. "Indian Health Care Improvement Act Amendments of 2006"
