Tex Hall facing tough campaign for re-election

Tex Hall is facing a tough challenge as he seeks a third term as chairman of the Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation of North Dakota.

Hall came in second in the tribal primary. The top vote-getter was Marcus Wells Jr., the current vice chairman.

Hall and Wells say they will work to straighten out the tribe's finances. But Hall wants to reform the constitution while Wells says it should be left alone.

The election is November 7.
