No charges over threat to Indian student in Illinois

No charges will be filed against two University of Illinois students who posted online threats against an Indian student who is fighting the school's "Chief Illiniwek" mascot.
The students made their remarks on
Facebook, a social networking site. They made reference to a Lakota female student, suggesting "we throw a tomohawk into her face."
But since the threats were not made directly to the female student, authorities said no charges were warranted. The students, however, face disciplinary action through the university.
