Navajo Preparatory School unveils $3.2M gym

Navajo Preparatory School, a Bureau of Indian Affairs school in Farmington, New Mexico, unveiled a $3.2 million gym on Wednesday.

The 22,000-square-foot facility was funded by the BIA, the Navajo Nation, the Nenahnezad Chapter and the state of New Mexico. It replaces the first gym, which was built in 1958.

The gym isn't the only new construction at the school. Next week, workers will break ground on a new track, football and baseball field.
