Ads target teen pregnancy among Alaska Natives
Citing high rates of teen pregnancy, the state of Alaska plans to air public service announcements that target Alaska Native youth.

Teen births have declined in the state. But in rural areas, the rate remains higher than the state average, according to the Bureau of Vital Statistics.

The ads, to be aired later this spring, will discourage girls from having sex and will warn young men about the legal consequences of sex with minors.
