Native woman named top employee by company

Debra Castillo, a Navajo/Apache woman from Arizona, has been named Employee of the Year by The Maids, an international home cleaning company.
Castillo, a member of the San Carlos Apache Nation, joined The Maids nearly eight years ago. Since then, she has risen to become a team leader and is considered one of the best in the company.
"Her customers love her. They rarely skip or cancel," Maids owner Suzanne Faustlin told The Arizona Daily Star. "She leads by example, expects the best."
When she's not busy at work, Castillo tries to instill tribal values in her three children. Her husband, Pat, is Hopi and Tohono O'odham.
