Parents question handling of Onondaga abuse case

Two parents say they aren't getting answers about a teacher who has been accused of sexually abusing nearly half of the girls at the Onondaga Nation School.

Albert Scerbo, 44, was arrested on charges of endangering 17 girls and sexually abusing 16 of them over a four-year period. One parent wanted to know why the abuse wasn't stopped earlier.

Another parent said the school hasn't done a good job at getting out information. He said he learned about Scerbo's arrest from his child.

The case started with charges against Scerbo for abusing two students. During the investigation, 15 more girls came forward.
