Senate hearing on transportation issues

The Senate Indian Affairs Committee is holding an oversight hearing this Thursday on transportation issues in Indian Country.

The hearing will be the committee's first on the subject in the 110th Congress. The witness list has not been made public.

In 2005, Congress renewed the Indian Reservation Roads program with $1.86 billion from fiscal year 2005 through fiscal year 2009.
