Judge to issue ruling on Onondaga abuse case

A judge in New York heard competing arguments in a sex abuse case against a former teacher for the Onondaga Nation.

Albert Scerbo is accused of abusing endangering the welfare of 17 female students and sexually abusing 16 of them. His lawyers are seeking dismissal of all the charges due to the way the investigation was handled.

The judge said he will issue a ruling by the end of the week. A trial is set for July 23.
