Dream catchers a popular item at NMAI store

The $14 dream catchers are a popular item at the National Museum of the American Indian, according to an internal Smithsonian report obtained by The Washington Post.

Yet the museum makes it hard to find the item, the report said. Visitors have to go to the second floor shop while more expensive items are located on the first floor.

The NMAI shops are not unique, the report said. Most of the shops are run poorly and the Smithsonian is considering outsourcing.
