Man and two children dead in car fire on reservation

A man and his two children were found dead inside a burning car on the Skull Valley Goshute Reservation in Utah earlier today.

The man was an Army contractor at the Dugway Proving Ground, which is located near the reservation. He apparently picked up his children from his wife, from whom he was separated, on Wednesday.

Hour later, on early Thursday morning, a truck driver noticed a burning car while passing by the reservation. A tribal member helped put out the fire along with local firefighters.

The incident is being investigated as a possible arson. But Tooele County Sheriff Frank Park said it could have been murder-suicide. The FBI is assisting.
