Citizen Potatawomi chef wins award for PBS show
Loretta Barrett Oden, a member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation of Oklahoma, has won a Boston/New England Chapter Emmy for her PBS series.

Oden filmed five episodes for "Seasoned With Spirit: A Native Cook's Journey." She visited Native communities across the country to learn more about their cuisine.

The series begins airing in Oklahoma next Monday. Oden hopes to make 21 more episodes.
