Meskwaki Tribe to kick off 93rd annual powwow

The Meskwaki Tribe of Iowa kicks off its 93rd annual powwow today.

The powwow began in the early 1900s and lasted about a week. Now it runs for four days.

The powwow features the Green Corn Dance and other unique dances, along with arts and crafts and food.
