Artman to appear on Native America Calling

Assistant secretary Carl Artman and his principal deputy Majel Russell will appear on Native America Calling tomorrow.

The two officials will discuss the Bureau of Indian Affairs' modernization initiative. In meetings through this month, the agency is talking to tribes about the way the agency will operate in the future.
