Muckleshoot Tribe offers free site for Sonics arena

The Muckleshoot Tribe of Washington is offering free land to anyone who wants to build an arena for the Seattle Sonics and Storm.

The tribe owns 26 acres next to its Emerald Downs race track. Although the site is about 25 miles south of Seattle, the tribe says it is feasible for a sports arena.

But the tribe says the facility would cost $450 million. Some sort of financing plan would have be to developed.

The proposed site is not held in trust.
