Six people arrested in beating of Native girl

Six people have been arrested in connection with the beating of a 13-year-old Native girl in Idaho.

The girl was walking along the street in Lewiston on September 12 when several people were yelling about "white power" and "white pride." The girl responded by saying something to the effect of "What about Native pride?" and was attacked by two women and four men.

Three of the people involved are from the same family. They are Jill Grant, 40, her 21-year-old daughter Ashley and her 19-year-old son Jason. Also arrested were a 16-year-old boy, 22-year-old Michael S. Moody and 18-year-old David C. Moody.
