Shakopee Tribe re-electes business council

Voters of the Shakopee Mdewakanton Dakota Community of Minnesota re-elected all three members of the tribal business council.

Chairman Stanley R. Crooks, Vice Chairman Glynn A. Crooks, and Secretary/Treasurer Keith B. Anderson all retained their seats. It was a first in tribal history.

The tribe reported 88.1 percent turnout for the election, which was held on Tuesday.
