The
San Manuel Band of Mission Indians of California has named a new chairman and vice chairwoman.
James Ramos will serve as chairman. He is the first Native American on
San Bernardino Community College Board of Trustees.
Lynn Valbuena will serve as vice chairwoman. She is chair of the
Tribal Alliance of Sovereign Indian Nations and has served six terms as secretary of the
National Indian Gaming Association.
