Fort Peck resentenced for death of Navy SEAL

A man from the Fort Peck Reservation in Montana was sentenced a second time to 10 years for the stabbing death of a Navy SEAL who was home on leave.
Gerald Lee Littlehead was resentenced after his lawyer raised questions about the process Judge Sam Haddon used back in 2006. Haddon went above the federal sentencing guidelines, which judges don't necessarily have to follow.
Littlehead was convicted of voluntary manslaughter for the April 2006 death of Michael Bell.
Bell was on the reservation to see family and friends before returning to Iraq for a second mission.
