North Carolina radio show host suspended for remarks

A North Carolina radio show host and his staff have been suspended for three days for making racially charged comments about Native Americans.

WDCG's Bob Dumas and two other co-hosts of the Bob and the Showgram” referred to "lazy" and "inbred" Indians on their show last week. They specifically singled out the Lumbee Tribe.

Lumbee Chairman Jimmy Goins and other tribal members say Dumas should be fired. They said an on-air apology by him and his staff wasn't enough to resolve their complaints.
