Two children killed in fire at Cheyenne River

A two-year-old boy and his four-year-old sister were killed in a house fire on the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation in South Dakota on Friday.

The fire occurred in Cherry Creek, a remote area that is more than 30 minutes from other communities with fire department services.

Authorities are treating the fire as suspicious. The FBI, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe are investigating.
