Kickapoo Tribe dedicates $400K judicial center

The Kickapoo Tribe of Kansas dedicated its $400,000 judicial and law enforcement center on Wednesday.

The facility will house the tribe's criminal and civil courts, police, and social services. Other programs, including methamphetamine prevention and child support enforcement, also will operate from the two-story building.

Chief Judge Robert Henry of the 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals attended the opening ceremony.
