Bill Clinton campaigns on South Dakota reservation

On the eve of the South Dakota primary, former president Bill Clinton campaigned for his wife Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-New York) on the Sisseton-Wahpeton Reservation.

Clinton said his wife will improve Indian health care and support renewable energy projects in Indian Country. He referred to diabetes as an epidemic among Native Americans, The Fargo Forum reported.

Along with Montana's, South Dakota's primary is the last of the Democratic campaign. Both states have a significant percentage of Native Americans.
