Fire on Colville Reservation threatens homes

A fire on the Colville Reservation in Washington has grown to 35 square miles and is threatening homes and other structures.

Nearly 500 firefighters are battling the Columbia River Road Fire. The blaze is about 15 percent contained, a fire information officer said.

The fire started last week in an area forest area of the reservation.
