Native man shot and killed by police in Saskatchewan

A man from the Clearwater River Dene First Nation in Saskatchewan was shot and killed in an altercation with
Royal Canadian Mounted Police on Tuesday.
Harry Hainault, 38, apparently fled after two RCMP officers showed up to a home on the reserve with an arrest warrant. He was shot and killed on the scene.
The incident is the eighth police shooting in the last 12 months and the fourth resulting in death. The RCMP said it will meet with the
Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations to discuss the issue.
