Man dead in suspicious fire on Mohawk reservation

The St. Regis Mohawk Tribe of New York says a man died in a suspicious fire on the reservation.

Tribal police on a routine patrol noticed a burning house early Wednesday morning. The homeowner died in the blaze.

Tribal and state police are investigating.
