Voter: Gov. Palin a 'freezer' in Indian Country
Les Gibbs. a member of the Red Lake Nation of Minnesota, thinks Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the Republican vice presidential nominee, will be bad for Native people.

"Governor Palin is America's hottest governor, but, in Indian country, she is a freezer," Gibbs tells KUWS, referring to court cases that challenge Alaska Native subsistence rights.

Gibbs supports Sen. Barack Obama (D-Illinois) but thinks Sen. John McCain (R-Arizona) should have a job in an Obama administration. Obama "should hire McCain as an advisor in that area because of McCain's prior dealings with Indian Country," Gibbs says.
