Indian recovery center to expand with big grant
An residential recovery facility on the Fort Berthold Reservation in North Dakota will be able to expand services thanks to a $735,992 grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.

The Parshall Resource Center plans to add more clients and offer additional substance abuse treatment services with the money. The grant also will be used to provide more training at the center and at Circle of Life, another treatment program on the reservation.

The center was chartered by the Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nationand serves mostly tribal clients.
