California school replaces 'Redskins' mascot

Students at a public high school in California selected "RedHawks" as their new mascot.

The vote came after the Colusa Unified School District in voted 3-2 to eliminate the "Redskins" mascot. The change was delayed so that this year's freshmen could graduate with the mascot.

"RedHawks" takes effect during the 2011-12 school year.
