Arrest warrant for Means over missed court date
A judge in South Dakota issued a bench warrant for Russell Means after the activist failed to show up for a court date.

Means was arrested for fishing at Sheridan Lake without a state license. He hoped to use the case to prove his rights under the 1868 Treaty of Fort Laramie.

But he told The Rapid City Journal that he forgot to write down the date of his appearance in his calendar. "Evidently, much to my disappointment, I missed the court date," he said.
