Course offers training in tribal finance management
A new course at Arizona State University is being billed as the first to offer training in tribal financial management.

The American Indian Policy Institute at ASU teamed up with the Native Nations InstituteNative American Finance Officers Association to offer a course geared towards accountants and financial professionals who work for tribes. The goal is to teach them about the ins and outs of Indian law and tribal governance.

The course will be taught later this summer at ASU and the lectures will be developed into an online course. Participants who complete the program will receive a professional certification.
