Group challenges removal from Robinson Rancheria
Wanda Quitiquit, an entrepreneur, is among 44 people who are fighting their removal from the Robinson Rancheria of Pomo Indians of California.

Quitiquit was in the middle of an entrepreneur training course when she was disenrolled and lost her job with the tribe. She had been recommended for the program by the tribe.

"You look to your tribe to provide resources, and Robinson does have resources, but now I don't even have the opportunity or a chance to submit a proposal or ask for assistance," Quitiquit told The Lake County Record-Bee.

The tribe removed about 50 people in December. The Bureau of Indian Affairs has authority to review the decision under the tribe's constitution.
