Coeur d'Alene Tribe reports record voter turnout
The Coeur d'Alene Tribe of Idaho reported record turnout at an election on Saturday.

The tribe said 573 people cast their ballots, the highest number in 11 years. Voters re-elected Chief Allan and Norma Jean “Jeanie” Louie to the council and brought in newcomer Paulette Jordan.

Allan, who has served as chairman, was again selected to lead the tribal council.
