Tulalip Tribes offer reward for grave vandalism
A $1,000 reward is being offered for information about the person or persons responsible for the vandalism of the Tulalip Tribes cemetery.

More than a dozen grave sites were vandalized late Friday or early Saturday. Grave markers were damaged, uprooted or overturned.

“We are abhorred and distraught that such vandalism would occur at our cemetery,” Chairman Mel Sheldon told The Everett Herald. “The families whose plots have been damaged have a deep sense of hurt.”

The gates to the cemetery are now being locked every evening.
