County surveys residents about Pueblo water deal
Non-Indian residents in Santa Fe County, New Mexico, have been surveyed about a water settlement with four tribes.

The county paid Research and Polling, Inc. $16,000 to conduct the phone survey. Results will be available this month, The Santa Fe New Mexican reported.

The deal would resolve the water rights of Pojoaque, Nambe Tesuque and San Ildefonso pueblos in northern New Mexico. H.R.3342 and S.1105 have been introduced.
