Seminole Nation elects new chief and assistant

The Seminole Nation of Oklahoma has a new principal chief and a new assistant chief.

Leonard Harjo defeated Terry Spencer for the chief position. Ella Colman defeated Cynthia Yerby.

Harjo and Colman were sworn in to their new jobs on September 5.
