Yakama officer facing charges for on duty attack
A police officer with the Yakama Nation of Washington is facing numerous charges for an incident that allegedly occurred while he was on duty.

Jesse Hernandez Jr. is being held on assault, kidnapping, harassment and robbery charges. Authorities say he forced his way into a house, struck one person, threatened to kill someone and stole money. One victim ended up in the hospital.

The incident occurred in Toppenish, a town within reservation boundaries. Local police arrested Hernandez.
