Charly Edsitty, a member of the Navajo Nation, will serve as an intern in the White House next spring.
Edsitty, a senior at Baylor University in Texas, will work in the Office of Presidential Correspondence. She'll handle official correspondence for President Barack Obama.
Edsitty, who grew up in Arizona, has been an intern at The Farmington Daily Times in New Mexico and for CBS in New York City.
