Audit looks at spending by Seneca-Cayuga committee
The claims committee of the Seneca-Cayuga Tribe of Oklahoma was the subject of a recent audit, The Tulsa World reports.

An accounting firm looked into disbursements made by the committee in 2008 and 2009. The audit found numerous payments were made to tribal members without proper supporting documentation.

In total, the tribe may have overpaid $59,000 to members in the two-year period, according to the audit.
